DUBAI PHOTO EXHIBITION

Art Dubai 2016 hosted the country’s biggest Photography Exhibitions at Dubai Design Destrict, D3. It featured more than 700 images by participants from UAE, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Holland, Hungary, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, UK and USA. As a hobbyist photographer, I felt lucky to get to check those images out.

The exhibition was held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and launched by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA).

Supported by the World Photography Organisation and held in a temporary museum in D3, Dubai Photo Exhibition was held at the same time as the HIPA competition, which offered up prize money of more than AED1,000,000.
