Dubai has much to offer in terms of night time
activity for expats although the party scene here is restricted mostly to large
hotels as these establishments have a liquor license that allows them to serve
alcohol in their bars, lounges and clubs.
On some weekends, I was lucky enough to capture
Balkan Night and EXYU attended by mostly Serbians and Russian expats. It
is organized by Chameleon Club, Byblos Hotel-Tecom. They offer a night of
fun with Balkan Hits and flavors.
Police officers here have absolutely zero tolerance
for drinking and driving. Never get behind the wheel of a car if you have
had even a glass of beer, as getting caught will definitely land you in
jail. Taking a cab is highly recommended.
Expat ladies can wear
pretty much anything here depending on which part of the city you want to go or
party.
